Absolutely, in fact, there are so many under $500K, that it's too many for Realtracs to display. They limit it to 250 results.
Go to realtracs.com
Choose "search for a property"
Then choose Davidson County

On the next screen you can add price, Hillsboro High school and any other things that are important to you.

I think this link will take you right to that page:

One note, Forest Hills is more suburban feeling than the other places you have mentioned- usually ranch style homes on 1+ acre lots. It's zoned for Percy Priest which is a great school. And as one of the wealthiest areas in Nashville, right behind Belle Meade, it should continue to have great resale. But I wanted to let you know since it is different than the other places you are looking.

We lived in Green Hills and really enjoyed being so close to all the restaurants, shopping, etc, but hated the traffic. Then we moved to Oak Hill (right beside Forest Hills & basically the same), and loved being able to walk to Radnor Lake & having all the deer come into our yard, plus the lack of traffic, but missed being as close to everything. So each area has it's plusses and minuses. If I was moving back to one of those areas, I would probably pick Oak Hill/Forest Hills because you still get a great location without constantly dealing with the traffic.

Thanks for showing me that website, brentwoodgirl! I love how you can search by schools! And thanks for the tips on the Forest Hills area. I am mostly including it only because of Percy Priest Elem but we are looking more in the city.
