People do swim in the lake and a lot of people jet ski.

Indian Lake and The Maples are the 2 pools I'm aware of. Indian Lake is ritzier, but I think the Maples is pretty affordable.

Pope John Paul II High School (JPII) has a robust summer camp program that is open to children of almost all ages. There are a number of different camps offered each week that range from the arts to athletics to academic related (e,g, "Science Sleuths, Civil War in Mid TN). Our kids went last year for a couple of programs and will do so again this summer (unfortunately they do not have a pool).
