My family is relocating to the Nashville area in the next six weeks. We have been looking at real estate in the Franklin, Williamson County area. We will have to rent a house to start with. Can anyone tell me if there are any homes in Williamson county that will rent for around $1000 or less?

I'd be surprised if you found something in Williamson county for $1000 or less. It's like the 6th richest county in the country. Why not just rent an apartment for a few months. I lived in Carrington Hills for a couple years and loved it.

I very much doubt you can rent a house at that price in that area. These Apartments do relocation housing-http://www.alaracoolsprings.com/
You may look at Spring Hill for renting , which is next to Franklin. You can try this for Rentals---http://www.craigs-list-classifieds.com/

We had a short term lease when we moved here and we were paying 2200/mo for a 3bed duplex in Franklin.

Well, I rent an apartment in the heart of Cool Springs. 3 BR for 1400/month. I am due to get out of my lease soon. Just email you if you are interested.
