A 68-year-old Davidson County woman is one of three people in the state sickened by West Nile virus this year, according to Tennessee Health Department officials.

The Goodlettsville resident fell ill with the mosquito-borne illness during the first week of August and was hospitalized. She has since recovered. No further information about the patient is being released because of privacy laws.
