I bet it's fun; it sounds great!

I read elsewhere that Brad Paisley will be appearing as himself in the final episode (final for this season only, we all hope), and that the story is that both Rayna and Juliette have been nominated for some CMA award or awards. Don't know if they are competing (once again), or if the nominations are for different awards.

Extras were supposed to wear their finest formal attire for the event - how was your daughter dressed? Maybe we can spot her!

She's very tall, has long brown hair, and was wearing a white dress all covered in sparkly sequins. I would post a pic, but she'd kill me.

Interesting choice of locations - this is a very, very historic area, with Granny White's cabin just down the road, and part of the site of the Civil War Battle of Nashville lending its name to the other road. Nowadays it's a very lovely residential neighborhood. I wonder what's supposed to cause the explosion?

Possible spoiler: read no more if this bothers you!

The trailer on last Wednesday's repeat indicated that murder will be part of the last few episodes. Elsewhere, it appears that a "somber event" with Juliette's friends will take place at The Bluebird Cafe. Now, you know they're not going to kill off Juliette - so the "somber event" is likely to be to memorialize someone close to her. I can think of two present candidates, one much more likely than the other...and wonder if this explosion is involved.

Anyone else think the screenwriters may be stretching it too much, in hopes of increasing the audience? They're surely adding some extremely melodramatic elements to the plot(s).

I went to see Sam Palladio (in support of Ben Taylor) last night at 3rd and Lindsey!

He was great! Sang a cool song called "Walking up in Nashville" about his Grandfather who told him he had a girlfriend in Nashville. I guess he was over in the states around WWII. He was taking a train from one base to another. The train was to go via Nashville, arriving at 3AM. His grandfather gave the conductor $20 to wake him up when they got to Nashville so he could say goodbye to his girlfriend. The conductor forgot. Sam said he thinks of this every time he passes Union Station. Here's a link to the song:

His surprise guests were Sarah Zimmermann and Justin Davis who wrote, When the Right One Comes Along. The 3 of them did a lovely version of that song. He said he has been doing a lot of song writing, with JD Souther among others AND the last song was a really upbeat tune he sang for the first time, having written it just this week, with Sarah and Justin. I didn't get the name of it but it was great.

I was surprised how long the line was, arriving at 9PM for a 9:30 show . . so if you're going to see "Avery", go early! I didn't see any Nashville show folks but the place was packed. Am sure there were some cast and crew there somewhere! Very warm reception for Sam.

"Deacon" is featured in this weeks Portfolio section of the Tennessean (Sunday Paper). I'm off to buy another copy . . . . sigh.

This is a very cool website by ABC that has a lot of songs from NASHVILLE that are not on the soundtrack album. Really beautiful acoustic version of the song "Shine" featuring Sam Palladio.

Music Lounge - Nashville - ABC.com

Read today in the paper that Brad Paisley is appearing in the final episode on May 22nd.

Also, can anyone figure out why they chose THAT intersection?? I looked it up on Google Maps and it doesn't seem to be near anything . . no businesses or anything . . . maybe that's why they picked it. Suspect it is a car bomb???? Article mentioned another intersection on the other side of the highway bridge.

Wish they would officially announce that it is renewed. I think this is the last week of filming. If "Avery" is playing 3rd & Lindsley in June I guess that means HE's sticking around for the summer!
