I can see how from a distance that you could come to that conclusion...but I don't think you would see things the same way if you were still here.

Well that's good to hear, it's just that this along with another article I read gave the impression things have intensified. I just checked, though, after reading your post, and the other article was from September 2011, so it's not terribly recent.

For what it's worth, I actually visited the mosque that the current Muslim congregation is currently using back in 2010 for a multicultural studies class while I was at MTSU. My understanding is that there are close to 300 families who worship at the current mosque and I must say that it is extremely small. It's probably half the size of a typical Burger King restaurant or a one-bedroom apartment. Needless to say, the current Muslim community does need a much larger center so they can worship. Sadly, I thought this would have been resolved by now and their new center would have constructed. :Sigh:
