I second Children's Clinic East for pediatrics...we had great experiences with every doctor in that practice. Dr. Shepherd was our primary pediatrician...but I would also recommend Dr. Wells and Dr. Mehrotra.

I live in Donelson and actually drive to Mt. Juliet to get my hair cut. I go to Tangles on Lebanon Road (I was just there tonight) between the Tractor Supply and Mt. Juliet Road. It's a great salon that encourages educational development for their stylists to keep up with the trends and their prices are much more reasonable than what I've found for comparable salons in Donelson. I go to Maria, who just this summer made two separate trips to NYC for classes with top Redkin stylists. Right next door is a spa for manis/pedis, massage, etc, I think she told me the name was Polished. I haven't tried it (today was actually the grand opening), but Maria was telling me that the girl that opened it started out at Tangles and the girls she has working there all came from the spa at Opryland Hotel. I will be giving them a try soon!
I really had a hard time finding a stylist when I moved down here two years ago. Maria is the fifth one I tried and I've been with her for over a year now. I just love her and hope she plans to stay in the business for a LONG time
