Having a hard time finding any concrete ordinances/laws regarding whether cats in Nashville are required to be vaccinated for rabies and if cats must be registered (like dogs are)?

They do have to be vaccinated for rabies but I am not positive that they have to be registered.

To get a quick answer, you should call a vet located in Nashville and ask them.

I am really good about taking my cat to the vet, as he is diabetic. In Massachusetts, where we used to live, I would get a rabies tag AND a license (to be a cat?) tag from the vet every year. Here in TN, have ONLY gotten the rabies tag (he is a nudist and does not wear a collar but I keep the tag as without it, he can not be boarded).

So I'm pretty sure that they don't need a cat license. But W4Life is correct, any vet should be able to tell you.

Are you living next door to a cat lady?????
