I don't know anyone with older ASD kids at Independence, but I do know kids there and the parents are very pleased and the kids seem like "good" kids. Also, Independence has some "voke" training in engineering, computers, web design http://www.wcs.edu/ihs/Counseling/co...mofstudies.pdf

I agree. We have friends who really like Independence.

As for cliques, I hear that about every school. Isn't pretty much every high school everywhere "cliquey" to some degree?

You hear a lot of stereotyping about Brentwood High being snobby, cliquey, etc. and yes, the kids tend to hang out in groups. But my kids have always felt at ease there. One of my friends whose sophomore-aged son has Aspergers said he came home after his first week at BHS and said, "I love this school. I'm being noticed for the right reasons."

Your best bet would be to visit your targeted schools while kids are there and get a feel for them yourself.

Well I just had my second interview for a job with the Tennessee Donor Services (DCI). Can anyone tell me if this is a good company to work for. The interviews went well and I figure I will hear very soon if I got the job.

Hi,

We relocated to Spring Hill last year, on the williamson county side. Not sure about what's out there to rent but use this link to make sure its zoned to the schools you mentioned. Good Luck!
