Those are the most recent figures since 2010 is the last time they took a federal census. The next one won't be for 10 more years, unless Nashville pays for a special census.

Arguing about semantics is going to help the OP.

The most common definition of "majority" is "a number larger than half the total," which 60% certainly is.

Rather than trying to be pedantic, I suggest you add some concrete info to help the OP as well.
