I need recommendations for restaurants that are group friendly. We will have between 15-20 people and would love a place that had a more private area (though we aren't looking to rent a room or have catering). Ideally, something kind of centrally located as we will have folks from various areas of the city attending. Would like a varied or basic American menu (steak, seafood, chicken) though Italian might be okay as well. Moderately priced (entrees $12 and up - though if less expensive specials are available that is fine). Will need a place that will let us make advance reservations and event will probably be on a weeknight.

Thanks!

You might try one of the Chuy's.

Maggianos on West End might be a good/easy choice. I pretty sure you can do family style and everyone pays the same rate.

I've also been to restaurants that will do a set menu for a group where you get 3-4 entree choices but you know up front it is going to be $30 or whatever the cost is. Makes life much easier for the waiter and no trying to divide the bill.

How about O'Charley's in Brentwood. I'm guessing if you went after 1 on an 'off' day (not a Friday) they'd have room for you?
