We are coming to Nashville for a bachelor party. We are trying to find a good place to stay that is with in walking distance to everything. Everything that we have found will not let more than six stay. Our group will be 7-10 of us and all around the age of 30. Also would love some ideas of things to do. This will be our first trip there. We are all big country music fans and love to see live music.

Not sure what you mean when you say that what you've found won't let more than 6 stay? They're not willing to rent rooms to more than a group of 6? Seems odd...

I'd recommend staying as close to the Broadway/2nd Avenue areas downtown as possible. This area is known as "the District" and is pretty much the center of Nashville's tourism/entertainment/nightlife. It's the place that most people think when they think of "Nashville" (although Nashville's much more of course). Take a look at the Hampton Inn on 4th Ave South, the Renaissance on Commerce St, the Doubletree on 4th Ave North, and the Courtyard by Marriott on 4th Ave North and Church St. You might also look at the Hotel Indigo located on Union St. All are within reasonable walking distance to the honkytonks/bars, etc in the District and might be on the more moderate side of the price range.

Further out (and likely cheaper) you'll find accomodations on West End Ave, which is a short cab ride to downtown...Days Inn, Holiday Inn, Marriott to name a few. But it's certainly not walking distance to The District. However, this area has a lot of restaurants and bars in its own right...but nothing that screams "Nashville" like the District does.

What do you mean by more than 6 stay? No more than 6 rooms? Or 6 per room?

Sorry, I have looked at a few condos near Broadway and they won't let more than 6 people stay. We are trying to find a nice place where we can all stay together. A hotel is our last resort.

Again...6 rooms or 6 per room? If you're talking about everyone sharing the same space, yeah, I can see that being tough to find. Most people are going to assume a large group like that is just going to tear stuff up.

Yes. And I'd imaging there are maximum occupancy restrictions as well - city ordinances and such.

Plus, I can't imagine there's a huge condo rental market in that part of Nashville. Most people stay in hotels... Sounds like you're going for maximum occupancy possible.

Only place I can think of is an Embassy Suites hotel. There is one in Cool Springs and I THINK maybe one by the airport? Max occupancy in each room is 6 - two double beds and a pull out couch and you can probably get two adjoining rooms meaning there is a door that opens between them. That's about as close as you'll get to all being in "one" room.

However, I'm not sure how long they will let you whoop and holler (if that is your plan!)

Free cook to order breakfast is included (if you can get out of bed that early). And you''d have to take a taxi to downtown.

Not sure this is legit (and I don't know how to even tell) - it's on Craig's List - Vacation Rental. Sleeps 16 people, it says. $400 for a night . .

DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE VIEW !!!
