If you were making a gift basket to represent Middle Tennessee, what would you put in it? Am seeking gift ideas.

This thread had a few ideas:

//www.city-data.com/forum/nashv...ift-ideas.html

For me, it would depend on if the recipient had particular interests. Food? Outdoors? Reading? etc.

Cracker Barrel has an interesting assortment of candy and soft drinks that you don't see in the average convenience store. Maybe some of these would be appropriate.

I have a friend who gets her grandmother an assortment of jams/jellies from Loveless Cafe every year for Christmas. Maybe something like that?

Personally, I'm hooked on local honey. It's the best I've ever had -- particularly when it's from some of the beekeepers in Williamson County. I'm not sure what makes it so much better than most other places, but it is.

Pinks and greens from Sally Lane Candy Farm. (It's in Paris -- technically in West TN, but very close to Middle TN.) They have--or had--a store in the airport as well.

A ham from Clifty Farms (also in Paris).

I second Goo Goo Clusters and Moon Pies (also not technically from Middle TN, but close enough).

If you go a little more regional, throw in a Ski and a Cheerwine, and you're in business!
