Another reason to love Nashville: Of the 101 best food trucks in America, 4 are in Music City, or at least that's what the good people at The Daily Meal said. Here's the story:

101 Best Food Trucks in America for 2013 | The Daily Meal

I would love to hear what experiences you guys have had with Nashville's food trucks.

I'm kind of surprised that The Grilled Cheeserie ranked higher than Mas Tacos. I've never been all that impressed with the Grilled Cheeserie....but it's very popular and I think it's just me.

The Grilled Cheeserie is the darling of local food trucks right now. It's pretty good. Some of the daily specials are nice.
Riffs is always good.
Haven't found Mas Tacos yet.
Surprised Pizza Buds is on the list as they are fairly new.

It's funny -- When I think food trucks, I think taco trailers -- not grilled cheese! But the Grilled Cheeserie has become a much beloved institution. Good for it and all the others for being recognized.

Retro Sno was parked in our neighborhood tonight, so I took my son for a snow cone. It's awesome, and I highly recommend.

I haven't had anything I didn't like from any of the food trucks. Hoss Burger is my favorite. The grilled cheese truck I don't understand all the hoopla about. It's good enough, but it's not any better than any of the other trucks.

N.Cal....I'm not even sure Mas Tacos actually does the food truck anymore? Once they opened their brick & mortar spot, I didn't really see that Winnebago anymore. I think it was actually the first food truck I ever visited. It was a nice intro because it was good enough to make me want to try more.

I think you're right. Or the truck only goes out for special events. I'll need to hop over to EN for lunch some day.

Definitely love Hoss's! Grilled Cheeserie is great--but I tend to think of it as perfect lunchtime comfort food on dreary cold fall/winter days, not something for summer, but that's just me. Haven't seen a Mas Tacos--maybe I need to hit their B&M joint to see what the fuss is all about!
