I hope this finds you well. I am just wondering if there is any administrative assistant jobs in Nashville area? The starting pay around 13-15.00/hr?

If so, how do I go about trying to apply? Is there any particular website that I can go to and apply?

I would suggest making a list of the larger private companies and firms (legal, medical, financial, construction, etc.) and applying to those you are interested in.

I'm a great believer in making contact with someone who can actually hire rather than just sending in a resume or talking to the HR department (to me, sending a resume to an HR department is the equivalent of sending it to the Dead Zone). This is harder and takes more time than taking the easy approach but often rewards the effort. Don't wait for a company to post a job opening (whether online or in the newspaper), go to them.

You might want to get a copy of the Nashville Business Journal Book of Lists to see who the larger employers in Nashville are in various fields.

My office looks on all the job search sites like Careerbuilder.com and indeed.com, which is an aggregator.

If you post your resume online and search by your desired position and salary range, you may have luck.

This may be one area to try a temp agency (Volt) You never know what agency a big company may use to fill a position tomorrow. May still take a week or 2 to clear all the tests to be sure you are a good fit for the position.
