What I would do is take the cheap Casino bus to Harrahs in Metropolis which is right across the river from Paducha. I have never been but I suspect the Casino subsidizes the bus trip to bring in more people.

I just looked at the rates for the casino bus. It is run by Grey line and they charge 5 bucks Nashville to metropolis weekdays and 8 bucks on weekends. They also run an airport shuttle service for 14 bucks to downtown Nashville.

I agree with Alleycat . . . you need to learn to GOOGLE!!!

But in the meantime, here is the information on the local bus that will take you from the airport to downtown Nashville:

Nashville MTA Airport Service - Bus service to Nashville airport, take the bus to BNA, Nashville airport and MTA, Route 18 Airport/Downtown Hotels

GoogleMaps will show you a map of downtown, it's not that big and you should be able to find your way around. IF you have a lot of time between buses, try the library OR there is a Panera Bread across the street from the entrance to the Ryman and it's a good place to 'hang'.

Here is the Greyhound Bus website. I guess you could use the Casino Bus but suspect it might be frowned upon. Not sure how they can tell . . but they might.

Greyhound.com | Home

There are three buses from Nashville to Paducah.

Leave Nashville at 5:30 AM and arrive at 8:15 AM (2 hours 45 min)

Leave Nashville at 10:00 AM and arrive at 3:50 PM (5 hours and 50 minutes - makes a lot of stops)

Leave Nashville at 6:45 PM and arrive at 9:30 PM (2 hours and 45 minutes)

If you buy your ticket a week in advance it's $38. A refundable ticket is $55.

Good luck!

They can't force you to gamble. They can't force you to enter the casino. I have never been there but I assume there is a way to escape the grounds...

You could take a taxi into Paducah from metropolis.

The other option is t just fly into Padcah. I know it is more expensive, but ths whoe affair will cost you money ad major time. It may be worth the money to not have the hassle.

It would be easy to slip away. One thing I didn't think of, luggage. If more than a small handcarry bag, that would probably look suspicious. Agood way to get there though.
