I live about 8-10 miles closer to the Green Hills Whole Foods but can get to the Franklin location a lot faster especially in fall/winter ... Green Hills traffic is horrible. Trader Joes has nothing In want that i can't get at Whole Foods, Publix or an international market.

Unless you are doing private school stay out of Davidson county and maximize your $600k out south towards Brentwood/ Franklin. Property tax and interest are deductible, tuition is not.

The 15 year construction on I65 N has helped the congestion at certain points but not enough to ever lure me back to Hendersonville.

Murfreesboro is booming and pretty but way to much traffic and the college keeps growing which brings more traffic.

Mt. Juliette has some very nice but again a hectic commute if you need to go into Nashville and no health food store,

Churches, YMCA's and movie theaters everywhere!

Best wishes on your move.
It doesn't sounds bizarre at all to me. My partner and I generally visit TJ's and Whole Foods 2-3 times a week. Proximity to these stores have come up numerous times in our ongoing West Nashville versus East Nashville discussions. I love many of the E. Nashville neighborhoods, but I want the amenities I'm accustomed to on the west side too. For some folks, proximity to churches and great schools are important. To others like myself, proximity to cold pressed juice and Speculoos cookie butter takes precedence. Fascinating indeed.

We're clearly overdue for a second store. I've asked on a couple visits when we'll get another one. The answer both times is that we'll get another store when the TN wine laws change for grocery stores. Wine is big business for TJ's.
