I finally made it

Thanks everyone for the tremendous wealth of information and the willingness to share your thoughts and opinions. Just wanted to say thank you to all of the usual suspects who actively participate. Even to those who I did not directly correspond with, i feel like I have some sense of who you are from your posts and you are all beautiful people.
(Nshvol, country, wmns, doncor, sep, errbody else)

Not that anyone really wants to know, but I settled on Franklin after looking into SW Nashville, Brentwood, and...Frank....lin. I am super excited.
If only excitement paid bills...

Enjoy your Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Are you employed? Your comment doesn't lead me to believe you are. I don't know where you moved from, but if you moved here without a job, it's going to be a short-lived thrill.

Default ...

Thanks! I brought the family dog. Would you like to kick him as well? I will be charging a nominal fee tho since I'm already running low on excitement.

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!!!

You made it!

(hmm, getting a bit heavy handed with my smiley faces . . .)

Hey, the hard part is over. All that packing and organizing. Fries the brain.

You're HOME now!!!

(and you've been on the board long enough to be able to tell the naughty from the NICE . . . )

Actually, excitement and enthusiasm are much more likely to pay the bills and help you settle in than negativity and Scroogieness.

(I made that word up)

So, you're in Franklin! Good pick. Have you been downtown yet? The Christmas lights are up!

Thanks so much for checking back in. It's always nice to know that our posts are helpful, even if people decide to move someplace else.

Again, welcome welcome welcome AND feel free to come back if you have any settling in questions (car repair? Plumber? Vet?).

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This is probably the most valid relocation question anyone can ask, no matter where someone is relocating from or where they are relocating to. I'm surprised I get such a negative reaction for asking the most obvious question when someone is relocating.
