There seems to be a rash of people coming to this board who are relocating for jobs in LaVergne. Did a new company just move there? I did a quick Google search but didn't see anything.

I don't remember hearing of anything. It might just be due to the increasing health of the local economy.

Is it possibly one of the Amazon distribution centers?

They build commercial switchboards and panel boards. They own cutler hammer.

The area is getting bigger. I suspect Antioch and La Vergne will get the bulk of the growth.

Thanks! I wonder if the other new posters are from the same company. My husband works in LaVergne too, so I found the increase in posts interesting.

I worked at the mother plant for the P&S (Panelboard and Switchboard) division in Sumter, SC for nearly 8 years. I have spent close to the next two years at the Phoenix, AZ facility. When the La Vergne site opened the division was very excited. Since then they have taken off. I have heard that David Bader, the operations manager, is one of the very best managers in all of Eaton but he was pleased with the opportunity to start up in La Vergne I have also heard that La Vergne is a great place to be in general. The residents can attest to this more than myself.
