I have yet to buy myself some boots but have out of town family who are coming who want to buy some. Anybody recommend a couple of good boot places? I'm not sure if French's is still just outside Franklin. Took my nieces to Nashville Boot but it's kinda out of the way . . . anyway, any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know if you want to shop in the Franklin area.

I'm not sure this is the best place to buy boots anymore. There used to be factory outlet stores here for Acme Boots and others but that's been years ago.

If I were looking for boots, and wasn't too hard to fit, I would shop one of the online shoe stores.

I wouldn't buy boots online...any other type of footwear, sure...boots are a bit peculiar the way they fit someone's foot...plus, that's likely a lifetime decision...

You HAVE to try boots on.

I bought some at what used to be called RCC Western Store over here on Moores Lane in the Publix/Michael's/Home Depot shopping Center.

I think they now are called Boot Barn.

Good boots are pretty expensive.

Will have to see if Boot Barn is still there? I googled it and none listed in Cool Springs . . but I am over that way a lot.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It was just something touristy they thought they could take home as a reminder of their trip . . .

It's either Boot Blisters or GooGoo Clusters!

A gift shop cowboy hat would be cheaper.

Just take them to one of those shops on Broadway. They have a ton of fun and funky stuff.

The Frist and Hall of Fame gift shops have nicer items.

THey do have a Boot Barn at Opry Mills. If they come on a weekend, they could get boots & a show on the same trip!

Bass Pro can have a nice selection of jeans/tops & other clothing items. Plenty of places to get a Nashville shirt.
