Are you looking for a home with acreage? How large a community?

Cookeville, TN has a population of approximately 30,000. You will find all of the amenities you will ever need there. It sits on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau. If you want a little privacy and just a few acres of land (2-4 acres), Cumberland Cove just outside of Monterey, TN might be an option.

Thanks for your input! We would like to be within 30 minutes of Oak Hill, just south of downtown Nashville, if possible.

Rural and 30 minutes south of Nashville.... parts of Franklin are more rural than you would think... the eastern area toward Arrington, or parts west of down town Franklin e.g. heading out of West Main Street to Carters Creek Pike
While not exactly rural, parts of Franklin are easily accessible to rural areas such as Leipers Fork.
Even parts of Grassland will have a rural feel to them, and that is just north of Franklin.
