Nashville is number 5 of the Top Ten Boom Towns for apartment rentals behind San Jose, Austin, Houston, and Grand Rapids. Average rent was $882 in the 4th quarter of 2013 with occupancy rates of 95%.

Article also says that 3,000 new units were completed last year with another 7,000 being built. MAYBE that will lower the average rental rate - supply and demand - OR simply increase traffic!

Hoping tthat some of those new units that are being built are low-income and middle-income units. Still need more of those...
