Now that the weather is getting nice, I am wondering if you could give some suggestions for places that have outdoor dining in Nashville or the outlying areas. Preferably more on the casual side. Just wanting to grab dinner with the girls and sit on a nice patio area etc...thanks so much!

Most of the places in the Gulch (Pub, Cantina Laredo, Rumours, Peg Leg Porker). Urban Grub in 12So. Drifters in EN. The bar at Husk has a nice patio!

I've been hanging out on the SATCO patio for 20 years. I love it on a non-football Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere gets pretty fratty, though.

For "dinner with the girls," I like Wild Iris's tiny patio in Brentwood. Local Taco's patio is fun for happy hour.

If you are over by Vandy, I second the SATCO suggestion. Also Taco Mamacita.

I'm not a huge fan of Wild Iris--eaten there twice and both times have received less than stellar service and was served my dinner lukewarm (though the rest of our party, both times, had piping hot food).

Agree w/Taco Mamacita!

Also Silo has a small patio.
The Mad Platter.
12 South Taproom
Jackson's
The Wine Bar in Franklin
Mad Donna's
Rolf and Daughters
Rock Bottom Brewery rooftop
Pour House
Fat Bottom Brewery
Edley's BBQ (both locations)

Yes, I go out a lot.

Eastland Cafe also has outdoor (and dog friendly) dining.

I like the outdoor seating at Burger Up in Cool Springs but not much of a view . . . For views, the bar on top of Rock Bottom Brewery (downtown at the end of Lower Broadway) serves a limited menu and an amazing view of either LP Field or all the lights of the ****** tonks. Worth at least heading up there for drinks! Great at night.

Oh, also the Pineapple Room at Cheekwood or have a picnic! There are some great shaded picnic tables at one end of the little lake.

Virago--outside seating is awesome too...great views of downtown! I totally forgot about The Wine Bar in Franklin--definitely a relaxing place for a few drinks!

I saw this online today. It's a great list with photos, although it's not limited to "nice dinner out" places.
