Does anyone know of any places that offer weekly or just a month rentals? My husband is starting a job very soon and is going to be there before the whole family. I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm posting from my phone and for some reason I can't search or send PMs on it. Either something close to downtown or something near public transit (bus/train) would work as far as the rental. This board has been a great help so far, thank you!

We've have people from work living a few weeks to a month at various extended stay type hotels. There is one (Homewood Suites) on Church downtown and a few near Vandy.

Agreed with looking at some extended stay options. You might also get lucky finding something on
VRBO.com . Quite often the vacation rentals are weekly or longer. My guess is the extended stay hotel would be an easier option.

I'm in the same boat today. Could you follow up with what you found or used? The option reviews are certainly underwhelming on extended stay in Nashville. thanks.

Here's a thread from last year. If you don't HAVE to stay downtown, the Maryland Farms area of Brentwood is nice . . quite a few hotels to choose from. Restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, easy access to I-65 (Old Hickory Exit). There are also a few on the East side of Franklin Road on Church Street - a bit less built up on that side.
