Hi all,

My sister is planning to move to Nashville from California in May. She called me up tonight and said she's not going to make the move because all the ads in craigslist offering rooms for rent are by 20 something year olds. She's convinces that there are tons of singles in their 20's here and that everyone in their 30's & 40's are married and live in the suburbs.

She is divorced and 42 years old and terrified she won't make friends her age or meet men she can date. I can see how this would be true in some areas, but there have got to be sections where there tend to be older single people. Any suggestions?

She doesn't like suburbs and wants to be in the action near downtown. She just wants the action to be her age! Sheesh! Help! I'd love to hear your suggestions...I want me sister to live near me but I also want her to be happy. I'm one of those over 40 people who is married and lives in the suburbs, so I just reinforce her fears with my life!

Hi. Just wondering if your sister made the move to Nashville? I totally understand her fear as I am thinking of a move also. I am 40 with no kids and would like to be close to the action also. Just wondering if she made the move and how its going for her.
