That's true...and from my talks with numerous opposing fans, they agree. There are a number of arenas that are at or near a city's downtown...the list of ones where a large entertainment district is literally right out the front door is very, very short.

See, I don't think it's a total culture clash. There are quite a few Canadians that listen to Country Music....and even some Country singers.

Remember Jamie Allison? His other dream was to be a Country musician. When he played here, he pursued that. One of our star players is married to one of our star musicians.

Now I will agree -- the majority of Country folks don't know a lick about hockey. But the ones here have embraced it.

Back Alley Diner is pretty close. Have you tried it? It's good.
