Single empty nester here, with 3 dogs thinking about relocating to a more laid back area as far as weather, things to do and water nearby. Looking for a heads up as far as what cashiers make, ballpark anyhow. I've managed a convenience store here in Texas for the last 3 years and would like to do the same there. Perhaps someone could give me a heads up on what managers make. I don't mind starting over either. Also, I have a housekeeping service here as well. I also do pet sitting. I'm looking to purchase a med size double wide and perhaps set it on someone's property for rental fee should they offer that sort of thing in Smyrna. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Most cashiers in this state make minimum wage which is the same as the federal minimum wage, $7.25 an hour.

They said they managed a store. I'd assume that's more than minimum wage.

This is not an area that you see a lot of mobile homes. Cashiers make $7.25 an hour, managers probably don't make much more - maybe $9 per hour. Housing would probably be cheaper in LaVergne just a few miles to the North.
