I'm moving to Clarksville next month and anticipate having more time to pursue my hobbies, one of which is sewing. Is there a good fabric store in Nashville or nearby?

Please, no suggestions for Joanns or the like!

TIA!

It's a bit of a hike, but it's worth it for selection and price...

Great! I found their website and will bookmark it. It looks to be more for upholstery and such though, do they carry fabric for clothing as well?

There used to be a place in Clarksville called Hancock Fabrics that my mother shopped at. I'm not sure whether it's still there or not.

I don't think Hancocks closed their stores. The one in Paducah is still open and so is Hancocks in Clarksville.

I was disappointed to see that Hancock's closed down in Madison.

Thanks for the heads-up on the store in Clarksville!

I looked it up using watchmanonthewall's link. The store is on Highway 79, fairly easy to get to from I-24.

Thanks guys, I'll check it out. It's been a long tiime since I've been in a Hancock's, but I thought they were on a par with Joann. Are they carrying better fabrics now?

There is a pretty good fabric outlet store in Clarksville. It is off exit 4 behind Burger King. I don't sew but went with my mom and she seemed pretty excited.
