I have agreed to drive my niece to see the Black Keys at the Bridgestone on Monday night. Thought I would hang out at Bongo Java at the Omni Hotel like I did when I took her to see Taylor Swift BUT Bongo Java is now only open until 7:00 (it used to be open later). Panera closes at 8:00. I don't want to sit in a bar. I need someplace from 8 until at least 10. Any ideas???? I don't mind buying a drink / coffee but not a meal (eating beforehand with niece). Would like to read a book. Doesn't have to be library quiet but would like to be able to hear myself think? If all else fails I can sit in the car with a flashlight but . . . . any ideas??? Thanks!

PS. Would prefer not to drive anywhere . . just want to park the car once.

Pucketts might work. Frothy Monkey is not near the Bridgestone, but thanks!

There's a Frothy Monkey on 5th about a half block from Puckett's, same side of the street.

Wow oh wow! You're right! PERFECT!!! I only knew the 12 South one and the downtown Franklin one! That's great! I can hang here until 9 and then go look like I'm waiting for my husband (non existent) in the lobby of the Renaissance which has a lot of nooks and crannies . . .

Thanks! (sorry I doubted you Nashvols . . you've always been a star on this board!)

You could try the Opry Originals store at 300 Broadway, about a block or 2 from the Ryman. With a show at the Ryman may be open till 9 or 11.
