My husband and I don't have kids, but we have a 12 lb "chiweenie" that we madly adore. Can anyone recommend some awesome dog parks, walking trails, and restaurants that allow dogs on the patio? Any dog friendly festivals or events would be great too. When we move to nashville, we want to keep him included in our weekend activities, as he is now.

Thanks!

Musicians Corner at Centeniel Park on the weekend is pretty cool! They have an area called Dogville. There is a doggie bakery called See Spot Eat. It is a bakery dedicated to our 4 legged family. There are quite a few dog parks in almost every town. I did see that there is a new fully fenced hiking place but do not know where it is. Warner Park is not offleash although they do have a dog park but it is some great walking trails where dogs are allowed.

Just about any bar or coffee shop in East Nashville has dog friendly patios (Ugly Mugs, Barista Parlor, Beyond the Edge, Drifters, etc...(Red Door East doesn't allow them last time I checked) also restaurant friendly patios are Eastland Café, Edley's East, Fat Bottom Brewery, Pomodoro's East, Two Ten Jack, and I'm sure some other's I can't think of right now. there's also Shelby Dog Park and Shelby Park Greenway you can take them too. There are a lot of dog owners on this side of town.
