My wife and I are relocating to the area and we're looking to find a home within 40 minutes of Nashville (with traffic) that has good schools but isn't quite as congested as Franklin and Brentwood.

The schools don't have to be the best ever but we would still like for them to be good.

Somebody recommended Mt. Juliet might be a good area to look in, would you agree? What other areas would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Hendersonville or Mt. Juliet are also popular spots to look at outside of Williamson for good schools.

Mt Juliet is a great area with good school options. Infact the tennessean recently had an article on the achievements of Wilson County high schools.

I agree with Mt. Juliet its 20 minutes to downtown Nashville from I40. It's schools are all top teir public schools, if you use zillow you can see school ratings, and serious crime is extremely rare. All your shopping needs are there also, providence mall, publix and Kroger, plenty of box stores, dining out etc. House values keep going up. It's a good safe place to rise a family with quick access to Nashville metro I.e. Jobs.
