The Dream Hotel downtown seems ready to open any day now.

The project preserved a narrow, century old building, which was a 'Gentlemen's Club" back in the days of President Theodore Roosevelt who visited there once. Another older building, former bordello, was beyond repair, so the original façade was saved and reapplied after a new structure was built. Then a ten story wrap-around building was added with period architecture. The hotel backs up to Printers Alley which was a row of bars and clubs for adults.

It's one of the nicer projects in a few years.

The new proposal for the Tapestry Hotel in SoBro is not included. The Asurion and W Hotels are now officially under construction.

This is what's being added to the skyline in the next few years.
With the rapid growth in Nashville, the voters probably should have approved the mass transit proposal of a year or two ago. It's going to be needed. Nashville is the South's next Charlotte, then the next Atlanta.

This looks beautiful! Wow, another nice lux addition to Nashville's booming hotel market.

Yep, agree 100%. The future of Nashville is in mass transit...otherwise, the city will be another Atlanta with all that traffic nightmare.

I hope not! Those two cities are B-O-R-I-N-G... at least Atlanta has some places of interest to visit, namely regarding Civil Rights. But Charlotte is just Generica.

Finally, that hole has been there vacant since I moved away in 2012.

Crate and Barrel finally opening a store in Tennessee, in Nashville's Green Hills.

I like this store a lot (even if it is overpriced in a lot of ways). Glad to see it headed to Nashville though.
