Nashville is experiencing an unprecedented amount of growth right now with over a billion dollars of projects going on in just the central part of the city. There are another billion+ dollars in projects in the ring counties. I think Franklin's Ovation development alone is a $775 million project.
Nashvols mentioned he would like to see a thread that highlights these projects, so I thought I'd get things going with this article in today's Nashville Business Journal that Tony Giarratana has filed plans for a 60-story apartment and condo tower in the heart of downtown at 505 Church Street. The article below includes some renderings of the tower and its adjacent 11-story parking garage which includes streetside retail.

What is the next project that will undergo completion in Nashville?
First Tennessee Park opened up. What's next? I think it will be the amphitheater.

They look to be putting the pre-finishing touches on it now. I saw landscapers out there late last week. Today it looked like the beginning parts of the permanent fencing was going up. Still lots of work to be done, but the end is in sight.

Things are just starting to heat up to. The next 2-3 years will see the completion of multiple large scale hotel, office, and residential properties open up.

Another hot area is along Charlotte from about 26th out to Old Hickory. New BRT route straight to WalMart just starting with 40 minute times. Regular Charlotte bus makes jog near Annex-American and again to Centennial & St Thomas (Baptist) hospitals.

Thanks for all those pictures, ariesjow. It is absolutely stunning to see how much is going on in Nashville these days. I'm particularly excited to see what's going to happen to the old convention center site.
