Why do you think that is?? With Nashville being such a big mecca for music why isnt there anything available for kids on an ongoing weekly basis?

Most performers have kids that ASPIRE to be performers so where do they go to better their craft?
Everyone isnt a songwriter so where are the up and coming YOUNG performers going for exposure, practice etc etc?
This already sort of got answered.

Really... I have no idea. And that really bums me out to say that.

I know there are camps, and orchestra and school related programs, etc. However, it's hard enough for us 'big kids' to get venues to open up to us and get large crowds out or make a name or become the next thing in Nashville. I don't know of any all ages venues except Rocket Town.

I saw a kid punk band play Exit In once. They weren't bad. Never heard of or seen them since, but I imagine they weren't allowed into the place except to perform.

The children of performers have their parents to coach them and breed them for whatever aspect they want to get into in the business. Private lesson, coaches, what have you. As far as the rest??? I wish I could be of more help.

Sorry, but good luck in your efforts, I do hope it works out for y'all.

I personally think there's not much to be gained by being a singer at Age 10 unless you have exceptional talent. Songwriting is born of experience and you've got to live a bit. Taylor Swift being an exception. But she has a very keen eye for observation. You only have one chance to have a childhood . . .

Yeah, it's even hard here for Big Kids. One of my friends got roped into playing at the Church of Scientology And Celebrity Centre. That's what they call it now. She had NO IDEA when she signed up that the venue was a church. They wanted her to sign all these releases and allow it to be filmed. She was in her 20's and it freaked HER out.
