It's a fairly newer subdivision, I believe about 3 or 4 yrs old. Attractive homes on a dead end street, pretty nice families in the neighborhood. One of the elementary schools is just a couple of blocks away, as is the library, Portland swimming pool and city park/soccer fields. The only drawback is the fact that the street it connects to- Kirby Road- is where a lot of the industrial area is located so there is quite a bit of traffic at certain times in the day. Albany International is across the road, probably the closest factory to that subdivision; but it's not a noisy facility and they are always maintaining their property so it looks pleasing. They even put a little duck pond out front several yrs ago.

I'm not sure what other info you'd like... I've lived here in Portland all my life and it's a quiet county town. It's great if you like laid back, simple living. There's not a lot of crime unless you count the area around Strawberry Street in the middle of town, and that's usually at the Full moon.
