Goodletsville, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Bellevue, etc.... Which suburbs has the highest population of AA? There is nothing wrong with diversity but I want to be able to raise my family with other AAs. I'm kinda tired of the city life and looking for a change. Plus Davidson county schools are struggling right now and I want my kids to be able to get a good education.

I would throw in Smyrna and La Vergne as having more AAs.

Based off of Census 2010 numbers:

Percent of African Americans

Bellevue (Nashville-Davidson) 28.4%
LaVergne 23.0%
Goodlettsville 18.5%
Murfreesboro 15.2%
Smyrna 11.2%
Franklin 6.7 %
Mt. Juliet 6.7%
Hendersonville 6.3%

Bellevue itself isn't 28% AA, though. The best I can tell, using Census Tracts, shows Bellevue having about 7% AA...though I do recall from the Census data that the AA population had a large % increase.

In any case, I'm not sure the OP knows that Bellevue isn't really a suburb, but a suburban neighborhood of Nashville (so it has Metro Schools). Goodlettsville is also split between Davidson and Sumner, and the AA population is heavily tilted towards the Davidson County side (again, Metro Schools).

Yeah, I had a tough with Bellevue as it doesn't have city limits and many people could define the area of Bellevue to different areas.

Depends on what you are looking for. A lot of people seem to like living there.
