As well as looking into apartments, we are also interested in seeing what is open to rent in the way of houses. We have a great property management company that manages our rental home out west and I was wondering if anyone can refer me to one out in Nashville. I would love if there was a website where I could look at what's available to rent around the Nashville area.

E-mail a realtor and have them send you a listing of rentals available from the MLS. They can narrow down the list by price, size, schools, pets, etc.
My wife and I have one to help us relocate to Williamson County. Right now I'm tracking over 25 properties either through the MLS or craigslist that are in our wanted areas and price range.
