I don't get out much but my husband works at a store that sometimes has famous people coming in. He has seen/spoken with Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Nick Carter (from the Backstreet Boys) and Hayley Williams (from Paramore) over the past few months at his store. I'm sure he's run into a few other famous people and didn't know who they were.

One of the great things about Nashville is that we don't bother the celebs we see. In fact I was reading an article somewhere recently in which the Nashville author wrote on seeing a celebrity "...Of course I didn't bother her, we don't do that in Nashville. But I did post about it on Facebook and tweet it, that's allowed."

Lot of country music stars live near my gf parents house in Brentwood but I don't follow country music. I don't care about celebs unless they are actors I like which are very few and they mostly all live in LA or NYC. I have met a lot of pro athletes I don't know if they count as famous or not.

Thats why I heard Taylor Swift loves living Nashville people treat her just like an average person. Nashville people in general are down to earth people not anything like LA or NYC.

I know I've seen you post in the past negatively about LA and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I went to school in LA for a year and a half and a lot of people I met there were very down to earth and were no different in that regard than anyone here. NYC I know nothing about.

I have nothing against LA or NYC just speaking on general terms. The LA CD posters think they I have some agenda against them but its all in their mind. I speak on my experiences and I have mostly positive experiences when I traveled to LA even in West LA which is very wealthy. I just believe most of the country hates LA because of the Hollywood lifestyle and excess that goes on but the city of LA proper itself was fine it was mostly nice hard working Latin, Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants.

I used to take music together with Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban (they were the only ones who pronounced my son's name correctly back then). I saw the guy who plays Avery on Nashville at soccer last weekend, I regularly see Scott Hamilton, Cheryl Crow etc around town.

However, I'm so oblivious the guy in front of me at the grocery store who looks like he needs a shower could be some huge country singer and I wouldn't know it.
