hello,
so we are narrowing our search and we are deciding between Wyndchase -Aspen Grove apartments or Alara Farm Apartments. If anyone has any opinions, reviews or lives there, it would really help!

Both are very nice complexes...both are in great locations...both are very popular corporate relocation short-term rental locations...I don't think you'll be disappointed with either one.

We lived in Alara Brook (next to Alara Farms) when we first moved here, it was great for the couple months we were there.

My nephew lives in Alara. He loves it. Close to everything, safe, clean.

Good luck!

Both are way too expensive considering that you're getting no return on your investment. Only consider them if, as bnewman stated, you are here on a temporary basis or just need a short-term rental during the process of buying your house.

The rents charged by these complexes are more than a lot of mortgages, and now is the time to buy a house, before the next upswing in the cyclical market.

If buying is out of the question and you're looking to rent for a while, try Franklin Oaks or one of the complexes off Edmondson Pike -- Players Club, Brentwood Oaks, etc. All of those are safe and decent and MUCH more reasonably priced than the two you're looking at.

thanks, we are looking for temporary, 6 months and we have a dog! which is a bigger renting issue as far as finding places Alara does allow dogs however.

I'm not sure about the two specific complexes you mentioned. Some apartments here have weight limits for dogs but there are plenty that don't. Pretty much all of them have some sort of breed restrictions.

How big is your dog and what breed? As long as it's not a pit bull, rottweiler, etc., you should be able to find a decent apartment complex where it is welcome.
