I just received a job offer in Nashville. I currently live in Philadelphia and have lived in Charlotte. Question is: I am a 35 single female. Is it an OK single city for women in their 30s? Meaning, will there be things to do, people to meet, and not feel like an outcast for being single with no kids. I am looking to meet a man of course at some point, so also are there single men my age?
any advice would be great!

Tons of singles of all ages. Loads of stuff to do. Some of your social life will obviously be impacted on where you live & work.

BTW, I spend a fair amount of time in Philly 4/5 trips per year. A great city. You will have as much to do here as there...especially as your network grows. I suggest a geographic focus on: West End / Sylvan Park / Midtown / Hillsboro Village / Green Hills / East Nashville. Good luck! You should have no problems.

Yeah this is pretty accurate. A lot of young new people tend to think Lower Broadway is where you're supposed to go, but you'll quickly find it to be repetitive, full of tourists or people from an hour away. It;s fine once in awhile but I agree with the above post.

Thanks again Willie1212.. yes Philly is a great city with awesome restaurants and events... however I'm always open to new places and experiences that come along with it.
