Im moving to Nashville & I need to find a place that allows bigger dogs, is located near the zoo and is safe. I cant afford much since im waiting for my house to sell in Gainesville. I cant afford much but I need it to be safe. My girlfriend and I recently visited looking for an apartment and we had a few bad encounters with a few people shouting out vulgar things at her. My girlfriend means everything and her safety is very important. I can only afford 600-700 dollars a month. Any advice would be great.

The zoo is in the middle of Little Mexico. Your best bet is to look into one of the apartment complexes in the "Brentioch" area around Edmondson Pike, such as Players Club, Preserve, Brentwood Oaks, etc. They are all pretty safe and I would imagine most rent within your price range. You're still only about 10-12 minutes from the zoo with traffic but far enough away that most of your neighbors will speak English.

Her and her mom were at a stop sign out side of an apartment complex. I just want to find a safe area for her.
