Can someone recommend a romantic place in downtown Nashville for me to take my wife for Valentines day.

Maybe Merchant's (be sure to request "upstairs"). There are other restaurants we could suggest, but most of them are not in downtown, they're a little further out.

Thanks, I actually have eaten at Merchants restaurant a couple of times, and it is pretty nice. Hoping to get some new suggestions.

Would you consider restaurants in the West End corridor?

If I were in the mood for crowds and wanted to go out to Nashville to eat, my choice would be the Melting Pot. But it's by reservation only I think.

I love Zola's on West End, have not been in a while but never had a bad experience. If you like wine, my wife and I have also enjoyed Tayst. They pair a wine flight with the meal and makes for a great time. Good luck!!

I ate at Zolas last valentines day. I liked it a lot. This year I went ahead and made reservations at pf changs on west end. We have never been there, and I'm looking forward to it.

Have you considered eating at the Y? That's what my dates always want for V-day.

(Ba-dum-ching. I'll be here all week.)
