I have the opposite feeling. I'd much rather see a skyscraper downtown than another bland office park building or garden style apartment complex.

They really need to quit lying and hyping this city up and setting up for failure. Any Nashville Native knows the skyline here is no where near in the top 12

First of all the skyline downtown is full of cranes.. Yes, amazing huh to make the top 12.

Much like the city itself, the skyline is understated but recognizable. Even if Bob Dylan did write a whole album about it.

The list:
  1. Seattle

  5. Los Angeles
  6. Pittsburgh
  7. Philadelphia

  9. New York City

  17. Miami
  18. Boston
  19. Charlotte
  20. Honolulu

And for kicks, a shot of downtown Nashville with a bunch of construction cranes. In a few years the Nashville skyline will be dramatically different. http://nashvillehomescoop.com/wp-con.../01/cranes.jpg
I'm just not seeing it...maybe I'm missing something.

Why Not, That's what Nashville needs....and for the record I love Nashville but there is No Way it's Skyline outranks Atlanta's as this List Implies, This List is bogus Nashville's skyline from a distance looks comparatively small. Atlanta's Skyline from a Distance and from some angles looks as if it stretches for miles, Although up close it doesn't seem as impressive

The list isn't surprising considering the other lists Nashville is on. When there is a best ranking of cities, I expect Nashville to be on there regardless. Atlanta use to be the most over hyped city now its safe to claim Nashville has taken its place.

Honolulu, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati and almost every other city mentioned has a better skyline than Nashville. The batman building is "Nashville" but that doesn't make the skyline 12th most beautiful.

I disagree. They just have a few taller buildings than Nashville, but the skylines as a whole are not impressive.
