So we are still driving around looking for homes and decided to check right out of MJ. We drove around the south east of hermitage alone the lake and loved that area. With that said are there any downsides to that area or hermitage in general?? We loved some of the neigh orhoods and being along priest lake.

I have friends that bought a new home in that area about 5 or so years ago. They were looking there and Mt Juliet. They bought there because they liked the home better and it was closer to work. No kids...so Davidson county schools weren't an issue. They still love it there.

Thats a beautiful area! Both in Wilson and Davidson. The best thing is...hardly anybody knows it there.

Thanks. We went to some showings in that area today and just found out that one we were interested in had an offer on it today. Well we put in a competing offer and ended up accepting ours. I sure hope this area is a decent area. It looks pretty quiet etc when we have drove around it.

I think my friends live on Buttonquail Court and they've never had any problems that I know of. Congrats on getting your offer accepted.

Awesome,

Its still a while before we have our child be old enough for school...Still a few years, but my wife has always wanted to private school, so we werent currently worried about schools as much as safe location and neighborhoods etc. We ended up just falling in love with this one little side area of the neighboorhoods around the lake.

We cant wait until its time to get situated!

I am so appreciative of all the great info on here!
