Any surprising elections stories out there:

-It was nice to see the Jeremy Durham get defeated after all the controversy that was started in the capitol.
-Scott DesJerlais won Rupublican nomination, which I really thought that Garrett Starrett would give him a run his money in District 4.
-Susan Lynn R-Mt. Juliet had about four times as many votes than Tricia Farmer, who raised a ton of money to defeat Lynn. It appears that may not happen based on the primary results.

Most of the incumbents won. Little or no change in the state house or Congress delegation. Wait 2 years to see who runs for Gov & Senate vrs Corker.

I've never been happier on election night after spending election night 2014 in the fetal position with a bottle of whiskey

It looks like the drama is over for the Williamson County School Board. I love that dark money wasn't able to buy the Metro School board race.

It makes me happy that Sam Whitson crushed Jeremy Durham but I do wonder which 78 of my neighbors voted for Durham (that's how many votes he got at my polling precinct). Jack Johnson looked defeated on election night even though he wasn't on the ballot which gives me great pleasure as I can't stand him.

Super impressed that the democrat running against Glen Casada was able to get almost 1200 people in Williamson County to pull a democratic ballot.

And in the general, y'all will have a great choice on the other side of the ballot.
