there is actually decent skiing in Quebec and at least when I lived in the northeast it was relatively cheap compared to US mountains.

Have a trip coming up and was looking to see if there was anything new at BNA. Lots of places are closed, Whiskey House, Opry Originals, Nashville Star, the nail salon, Life is Good, Nashville Zoo, 8th and Roast coffee, Swetts and Whitts.

I like that Parnassus is one of the options. I wonder when new restaurants will come in. Not that impressed with any that are there.

I think it’s going to be a number of months before anything gets fully re-opened. They do have some small kiosk type things of places that are currently closed so they are not totally closed but they are only selling a small part of what they usually sell. I’ve flown in and out of BNA 3 weeks of the past month and things change nearly every single week.

Allegiant, which has been at BNA for less than 2 years, is adding 9 more destinations out of Nashville:

Bozeman, Montana
Fargo, North Dakota
Flint, Michigan
Greensboro, North Carolina
Norfolk, Virginia
Peoria, Illinois
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Tulsa, Oklahoma

This will bring the total number of destinations Allegiant serves out of Nashville to 27.

"The addition of these routes speaks to the overwhelming popularity of Nashville as a destination,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re thrilled that Allegiant can connect so many of our customers to the iconic Music City.”

This will be interesting to watch. There are already two other airlines flying BNA-JFK (American and Delta). JetBlue usually offers much better service than the legacy carriers.

JetBlue also flies from BNA to Boston and Fort Lauderdale.

The only issue with AA is that they fly the Embraer ERJ-140 (small plane) and not the 737. Delta flies the Bombardier CRJ900. No thanks for either. At least JB and SW fly the larger planes.

Totally agree about avoiding those smaller planes. United uses them a lot to connect out of bigger cities. I would fly Southwest and spend the night instead of flying in one of the “dba” planes. No room and often delayed. Just recently switched to Delta flying a “real” plane to hub cities - DTW and ATL.
