My husband and i will be relocating to tennessee for his job. He is going to go down there before me while i get loose ends tied up and sell our house. He is going to need an apartment while we search for a house. How is the columbia area compared to spring hill? There were some apartment complexes that seemed cheap and i am questioning the area or safety. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Where is your husband's job? Spring Hill is 36 miles from downtown Nashville and Columbia is 45. Even though it's just 10 miles, in rush hour traffic, it might make a bigger (longer) difference than you would think.

There are brand new 2 BR apartments being built on Highway 31, just South of SH. 3rd floor is a little over a thousand a month, with a year's lease. We just looked at them yesterday and they are nice. It has a Columbia address but it's much closer to SH. They are called Arden Village apartments. You can look them up on the internet. They will be ready in Jan, but are going fast.
