Some friends will be visiting from Canada for the CMAFest and want to go to see the CMT Awards on June 7th. I'm guessing tickets are Ticketmaster and the red carpet - can anyone just show up? If anyone has any info or has gone in the past, any advice (for them) appreciated! Thanks!

Tickets will eventually go up on Ticketmaster. You can set an alert when they come online. And also - https://www.facebook.com/cmtmusicawards/

Will depend on the Preds and how long they will be playing (hopefully LONG!)

Red carpet - just show up.

The show itself is ok - sound sucks since it's for TV. I'd save the money and watch on TV.

I figure you would know! I know, I have no desire to go. Happy on my couch. But said I would ask for the girls from Canada. So red carpet is just open to whoever gets there first? Thanks!

I get it and the CMAs red carpets confused. Not sure if there is a big deal (like there is for CMAs when they close off Demonbreun and the park). So I'm sure it's first come/pick your spot. I'd tell them to keep an eye on that Facebook page.

If the Preds ever make the Final it's almost guaranteed to coincide with CMA Fest based on timing. I can't even imagine.

Might just miss overlapping. Eric Church would likely get bumped. I don't think he'd mind.

The Bridgestone is already scheduling the Stanley Cup Playoffs ("if necessary") for the 2nd, 5th, and 12th of June. No overlap. Eric is safe!

Unless they're able to schedule it however they want because there wouldn't be any other series going on, I'm not sure how they know that yet. The rest of the series until then could either end really quickly or last as long as possible (cough this one ends Friday, cough).

GO PREDS. Hopefully they make the Stanley Cup this year, that would be awesome for Nashville and all of TN as well

True. The start will be contingent upon when both finals finish up. Any 7-game series will push everything back.

And yes - end it Friday!!!
