My friend and I are thinking about visiting Nashville for a weekend in April. Are there fun things to do and see? We are both in our mid twenties. We are very laid back, so no need for vibrant night life or anything, just wondering if we'd be bored or if it would be worth it. Flights are certainly cheap!

Well, there's obviously great music all over town. What venue you need to go to all depends on what kind of music you like. Check the local entertainment newspaper called the "Scene" and see who's playing at 3rd and Lindsley, The Station Inn, The Bluebird Cafe, 12th and Porter, Wildhorse Saloon, or Roberts Western World.

There's also the Frist Center for the Arts, the new Symphony Center, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, and cool places to eat at like the Bistro 215, South Street, Zola, Loveless Cafe, Pancake Pantry and many others. We have a really nice mall in Green Hills, and a cool little college-ish district called Hillsboro Village, which is near Music Row.

There's all kinds of outside "stuff" around town. Parks, lakes, rivers to canoe on...

A lot of stuff to do here.

There's the Opry Mills Mall and hotel. That's a fun time. Go to tripadvisor.com. The Hermitage in Hermitage.
