I moved here to be near families in Tennessee as well as Kentucky. I just returned yesterday from attending a funeral in Kentucky.

Residents do not mind paying taxes because let's face it, there are necessities and amenities which need to be paid for. However, when it becomes such a burden to homeowners to afford to live in modest homes and their taxes are in the upper thousands per year and raised annually to the point that a homeowner has to dispute the County's annual assessment...well then there is something seriously flawed with the management of expenditures.

It speaks volumes and very unfortunate as well that Cook County is referred to as Crook county.

Truth; while at the DMV I met more than a few people from Chicago within a span of 30 minutes.

Although prices are rising throughout Middle Tennessee, there are still properties to be found in your price point. The key is to be ready to act on them right away, as they don't last long. Murfreesboro will afford you the social activities and faith options that are somewhat limited in Manchester. Thompson Station has access to I-840 which is another option to access I-24 and minimize the traffic and congestion.

Couple more questions. What areas are updating to fiber optics? Also where we are living now we must have a water softener to treat the water. How is the water in the Murfreesboro and Thompson Station areas?
